Considering they are are the top of the proverbial tree in their chosen profession that does not make them hacks. Unless the payments were over the top and can be linked to the Football Club there is absolutely nothing in it.
You can hire players to plug your company, to sing happy birthday to you ata party etc etc etc.. All are legal...as long as they are earnt.
And even if they are not earnt....if it cannot be linked to St Kilda FC in some way, then it has nothing to to with Salary Cap Rorting.
I mean you would need something like Club dnating massive amount of cash to charity with said cash then going to the players.
A $150 apperance fee here or there is not going to bea problem if that is all it was.
