Jarrod Harbrow

Post: # 915366Post bergholt »

Jarrod Harbrow is an absolute star.

He was best on ground by so far it's not funny. I don't reckon we managed to tackle him for the entire night - until the last minute, when Geary and King combined to stop him outside 50 and win the match!

Hope he goes to Gold Coast.

Fantastic player, I would love to see him in the Red, White and Black...

The bloke can't be tagged, but for such a skinny bloke it was so infuriating to see him break tackle after tackle!!

Harbrow?

Yes he's quick and can find his way through traffic.

But if you want to talk absolute stars and best on ground look no further than Lenny Hayes.

Harbrow's star burnt out in the last and the Doggies ran out of puff and luck.

Lenny while making a few mistakes...definitely not alone...but like against Collingwood worked the hardest, made the plays and did it again and again.

Ugly but great win!

Graceful, elusive, strong overhead and no Easybeat!

Loose man in defence. You'd expect him to get it.

That being said, F*** he killed us. I was just hoping that Bakes would clean him up. But I guess that stuff is in the past.

Jones needs to go back to hard tagging for mine.

Lenny & Harbrow were clear BOG's.

Monty & Cooney were the next best, along with Gilbee, Gia & Dal.

Agreed.

I like that he's getting a bit of the ball but I would rather that he get 15 touches to his opponents 5 as opposed to 25 to their 20...

He's quick but he does butcher the ball, good game, not great.
Thought Cooney was better personally.

Think Jones was hard tagging, Cooney just very good and very quick.

I also agree, Harbrow very good, not bad for a small forward who went back.

His elusive skills, pace and delivery could see him as one of the greats if he continues to improve and has the longevity in the game.

Happy to have him in my dreamteam!
But otherwise, I would have prefered that someone subdued him.

Perhaps McQualter as an ex-midfield tagger who has the ability to put defensive pressure on in the fwd line should of taken Harbrow. Maybe he was, I'm not sure who Harbrow was on last night? Who ever it was, they needed to sacrifice their own game a little more as Harbrow provided the dogs with a lot of dash which opened the game up a few times. Jones should take the midfield tagging role. Anywho, we won!
