t'was fun whilst it was 'live' as well joff.
at least sRs doesnt go into the 'grant glaze' until he's on the battlefield.

the oddfellow, with full blown GRANTS DISEASE , he gets his 'grant glaze' on like a uniform as he logs in.

on re-reading , i noticed this little pearler , slipped in .
GT then later commenced an onging fued with the President over as you term it RB's extra-curricular activities which in no way consumed St Kilda Resources.
now that weally is wediculous

surely ,
the evidence clearly shows, whose nose was out of joint.

change 'ongoing fued' into white anting and 'GT then later commenced' into
the President ...

and we could ALL just about sign off on this ongoing argument.

Seconded ?

just discussed on Footy Clasified, amongst points raised;

- GT was generally positive about Waldron, mentioned he had good footy brain ( including in the box)
- said he may have got out of depth when given CEO role
- Caro said amazing since they ( GT and BW) were barely speaking when BW got role.
- Mentioned contracts - any worries for Saints? Some interesting comments on the whole GT control issue. GT said he was asked by Board to control the contracts, then they came back a year later and asked BW to do. Then a year later , they asked GT to take them over again. He turned to Hutchy and said thats the truth, sorry doesnt make a good story ( ie, that it was supposed to be all about GT being a control nut).
- then got onto Caro's article. Hutchy got on high horse about how she treated BW. Said she must have known (as everyone did) 5 years ago about the affair, and now you have a go at him "when he's on his knees" . To which GT chimed in with, " how can you have a go at Caro for that" ( ie sniping people who are down) -"when you have made an art form out of it for 5 years"!! Hutchy "I resent that" - GT "you can resent it but it's the truth"

It was pure gold!!

[sorry if didnt capture all points]

Whether he got a decent handshake or not, is probably irrelevant. He would've got whatever he was assured in his contract.

GT, for all his faults, agendas and inconsistencies, is a very moral man and this is why he fell out with both Brian and Rodney.
A 'very moral man'
What does that actually mean?

He has stated in the last fortnight that he lied as coach.

Are there morals you must adhere to and others you don't have to?

I have also heard that he 'fell out' with Waldron adn Butterss over their 'sleeping arrangements', but does that make him a 'moral man'?
By moral, I mean strong family values.

In business and coaching, I have no comment.

By the way, which coach does not lie? And therefore, is every coach immoral?

GT disagreed with the way the others conducted their private lives.
I have no idea if there is any AFL coach that hasn't lied at some stage.

And I wasn't having a go. Just trying to figure out what context you were using the term 'a moral man'.

Interesting that Waldron has gone on the Counter-attack now stating that he can name names and Clubs (NRL) in terms of Salary Cap rorting.

If he can and does do this the media STORM of last week will turn out to only be a light drizzle compared to what would unfold.

Oh please do.

Just imagine the NRL discovers every club has cheated
Consequently every club can not win any points.
What a great competition that would make.
They could even play a grand final but the winner would not be premiers!

but i've got a major bluegum branch up my datum over what went on with jmAinter.

it was either one of those 5 ... milton/saintsfan ... or more nastily , a moderator introduced troll, with the intent of removing grumpy and stinger from this site.

i'll keep going , (as everyone must know me , by now) ...until i find out who it was ...

Understand that gaz.

Fair enough too.

One of the reason why I left the GF was because of that incident (amongst many others).

I remember that thread very well, and was appalled at it. I stayed out of it completely just for that reason.

After that, and the vieled allegations directed at me (and i can tell you straight out that i had nothing to do with it, I would never stoop to those levels), I said enough is enough, and walked.

I cant tell you who it was. I dont know at all. However whomever it was, seemed to be a setup, haven't seen that poster before or since.

If it was saintsfan or whatever he is called nowdays, I can see why you would be pissed.

I just ignore whatever blatherings he/she/it posts. Drives him/her/it crazy :D
