I can hardly recall a consistent string of play in our fwd 50. We were second at the ball all night. That is simply NOT the fault of Fwds. We lost the ball in the middle and had no creative run out of our back half. Not fwds fault. They were starved of the ball and opps by un St K like midfield ineptitude.samoht wrote:Was Jonathan Brown the reason the Brisbane Lions got pumped today vs the Demons ? - he only got 8 possessions apparently.
Our forward line in general didn't perform.
Milne was also well covered and Goddard was ineffective.
Koschitzke - Is he the worst FF in the competition?

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

If you reckon anyone from the club reads this garbage and makes decisions based on what supporters think then God help this club. I think you should wake up from fairy land!saintdooley wrote:please, if anyone from the club reads this, please request for him to be dropped. i have been saying this since half way through last year, he is a waste of our space on the ground.

there is no next week for this guy! there is no future for him! he is too slow and dumb for the game! get rid of him now while we can! Aaron Fiora would of had more of an impact on tonights game than Kosi.
Another opportunity awaits!

That wouldn't be a bad thing if the players and coach read this forum and got some tips from us armchair critics ... maybe then they'd be playing Saintsational footy... take it to the next level.Moccha wrote: If you reckon anyone from the club reads this garbage and makes decisions based on what supporters think then God help this club. Why though? Raph is defended despite playing one good half every month. He is defended for his illness. He is defended for the sake of it. He has been with us for 7 years and still cannot play one solid game.Milan Faletic wrote:Saintsfan wrote:If you are calling Kosi weak and useless...which he isn't
What does that make Raph? He consistantly plays 1 half of good football per 6 matches
What does that make Zac?
Totally opposite view.
Zac is being carried constantly by others.
Kosi (like all talls) struggle in the wet. It was his first game back. Shouldn't he be afforded the same as Raph. Or because Raph has major knockers it is fashionable to back him despite showing bugger all on a constant basis?

Three factors to consider
- it was his first game back
- the conditions didn't suit him
- the delivery was poor
However
- this guy was (effectively) a number 1 draft pick
- he dropped marks he should have taken
- he is slow
- he has no second efforts
- once the ball hits the ground he is a liability
- he was ineffectual in the ruck
I'd give him one more game,
but put him on notice that he needs to lift or be dropped.
Macca or Rhys would have given us more tonight.

Quality post.
My suggestions....
Add Dal to the 'quiet' column.
Move Gwilt to the 'poor' category.
And Roo would have dominated! He is a terrific wet whether player! (when not injured)...
More importantly - Great stats! Add Shultz to that list...
That was a 'thread ending' quality of post!

Actually, Kosi dropped that because he half went for the chest and half went for the hands....
Indecision ruined that attempt....Not forgetting the ball seems to gets a deflection from the arms of his opponent.

I wouldnt classify that as dropping a chest mark.

Sorry, losing patience.
My sig has already dropped Kosi for B&F.
The Norm Smith is fading quickly.
He has been out for three weeks, was fit and from all accounts hungry and ready to go. The other players were buggered from a tough game against Freo last week.
Roo would have been fine tonight. All we needed was 2 goals from a key forward and the game was ours.

IMO Raph looked like a god send, like Judd compared to Kosi last night.

Make your mind up is it one chest mark in the last quarter or it multiple chest marks That was a pack situation in the last quarter. You make it sound like he dropped simple chest marks on the lead. Dont let a few facts spoil a made up storySainternist wrote:hahaha... you idiot! that contested mark he put down in the last quarter bounced straight off his chest.derby Street wrote:Marking on the chest Do you wear a jock strap as well SainternistSainternist wrote:ideal conditions for marking the ball on one's chest. and he's dropping chest marks.Spinner wrote:Notice the conditions?
