Not the worst idea.StNoodles wrote:betting agencies being cautious
i'd be tempted to throw 50 on us at 1000 to 1 on the very slight possibility we were done
If this was true and worst case scenario eventuates (I don't even want to type it) it'd be nice to pay off a few debts of my own.
But surely surely this is nothing.
Surely...
Animal Enclosure, please don't think i was telling you to f*** off either, I was just saying that.

We have an entire new off-field structure in place in comparison to what we had then. If the man allegedly responsible for the Storm's issues is somehow part of any wrong doing with us well...it was 6 years ago and no substantial action will be taken. The AFL has a history of fining teams and docking draft picks et al however nothing knee-jerk like the NRL will take place.
In the end the NRL is a game for nuffies run by nuffies. Whether we like the head(s) of our sport or not. They have the business acumen and pedigree built on succeess. A decision will be rational if and when another team is found to have cheated on the cap knowingly or mistakenly.

As they say, a fool and his money are easily parted.
Even if the worst case scenario plays out and Waldron was doing the same here, I do not believe this season would be touched by the AFL.
Reasons being that the Storm were in breach of their 2010 salary cap by $700k , there would be no contract at ST Kilda for the 2010 season that Waldron had anything to do with.
Secondly, if we were up to no good when Waldron was in charge, substitute his name for John Elliot and think what Carlton copped. The penalty would be a massive fine and a lot of draft picks.

Absolutely nothing in it...
Just as there is nothing in any "issues" left over from Waldrons Days.
It has already ALL been previously investigated. If there was any dirt that could come out it would already have been found.
