Club review of the weekend games
Round 2 - 2010 V Werribee
The Zebras continued their solid start to the year with a convincing 46 point win over Werribee in warm conditions in front of a big crowd at Trevor Barker Oval.
Sandringham led by 25 points at the long break after kicking eleven goals in the first half and came home strongly kicking eight goals to five in the second half to win comfortably. Sandringham had eleven goal kickers in a strong team performance with Michael Lourey, Brad Howard and St.Kilda listed Ben McEvoy snaring three each.
Coach Andy Lovell said he was pleased with a team that is a work in progress, he was particularly happy that what essentially is almost a new squad has been able to adapt and play to the game plan that has been set for the Zebras. Andy went on to say “During the pre season we were getting the game plan right for quarters and halves, against Frankston last week when we got it right it showed and again I saw improvements this week, when we get the game plan right it goes wellâ€

I always thought that goals kicked in the VFL matches did not count at all in St Kilda's AFL game.
