And still no Lynch :(

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

Yup, no Lynch.

Missing players:

Riewoldt (hamstring, 10+ weeks)
Winmar (shin?, 2 weeks?)
Koschitzke (suspended, 1 week)
Dempster (foot?)
Lynch (some sort of injury?)
J Smith (ankle, indefinite)
Miles (leg stress fracture, indefinite)
Simpkin (some other sort of injury?)
McGrath (who knows?)
Allen (retired)

At least one player will drop off that list this week. (Kosi). After Raph being on the Marngrook show last night, we now know a bit about young Winmar's injury. A pity he was'nt asked about Jesse Smith and Simpkin too.

fantastic that our three developing backs are playing for sandy's firsts. Important to develop all three.

Good to see cahill playing CHF and needs to relise that consistant leading, strong hands and contesting play could see him push for a spot in the seniors.

Gogroup of youngsters coming through, would like to see hutchings in the seniors by the end of the season

As Raph Clarke intimated on the Marngrook Footy Show last night, they are playing Tommy Walsh in the backline at this stage to learn the game, but he has the ability to end up anywhere.

Let us know which of St Kilda's emergencies front up for Sandy.

There should be two of Stanley, Steven or Eddy if St Kilda is to go as named.
If there is only one then there is a change.

That would suggest NO CHANGES

They normally keep one spare player who doesn't play for Sandi !!

So what you're really saying is that Gardiner could be out!!

No, they need a player on standby at the ground in case someone gets injured during the warm up.

However there is always the possibility of a fake with a player who is carrying an injury dropping out of the team on medical grounds but remaining in the team if required.
They call it a late medical test (the result of which has been predetermined).

But then we all know St Kilda is always up front about injured players.

I hope Stanley plays, even if we just put him on the wing to get the pace of A.F.L footy.
