"he most startling fact emerging from Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse's attempt to justify lying after Friday's AFL match is that he feels the truth should be suppressed for the "good of the game".

Malthouse wrote in his regular column in a News Limited newspaper today that he lied to the media about abusing St Kilda players on the ground because he wanted to "kill the issue stone dead".

he had labelled St Kilda forward Stephen Milne a "f---ing rapist".

If incidents in other sports were covered up in the same way Malthouse advocates, some of the most disastrous events might never have seen the light of day and therefore could have been repeated."

Actually, the propaganda coming out of Collingwood and Malthouse is more like the other side in World War 2.
And like Collingwood, they lost big time.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I found this article on The Age website late today. Normally I would just ignore rubbish like this, but as one of our sponsors decided to give this muppet space on their website, I thought it was necessary to add a comment to it. The 7th paragraph in the article was totally unnecessary, and then it goes downhill from there.
