I am SICk of people saying "Brown is better than Riewoldt because he has 3 Premierships."
Brown was 18 when he first played for the Lions in 2000. He played in Premierships at the ages of 19, 20 and 21. You can't tell me he was the main reason the Lions won. He was in the right place at the right time.
By contrast the Saints were way down the ladder in 2000, '01 and '02.
Of course Brown is an excellent player. I'm just making the point that it's a bit easier to slot into a great team than a struggling team.
Riewoldt had three different coaches in his first three years!
