I have been following the club for many years and in years past we would not of won that game.
We have something very special in place with the coaching staff and just the sheer character of the players.
I also shed a tear tonight Pat.
We are in in great shape to give it a real shake.

There are freaks and freaks and Baldock was both of those.

The strong mark by Fisher near the end the game summed up the night for us.
Nothing was going to stop us from winning as it turned out.
The adversity just made us stronger.
We've got Raph coming back soon, maybe Eddy as well, so plenty of hardness and run if any of the boys don't come up next week against Freo.
Glad our boys have it up top, unlike those pathetic Filth that converted LESS than 20% of their scoring shots into goals!

winning like that is something else, its the most amazing feeling and I know we have had some great feelings over the past few years, winning finals like we did against the crows 05, the prelim of 09.
But this game was amazing, a feeling of almost disbelief on how they stood up as one and never gave up. The kicker is the fact it was against Collingwood so it is extra icing on that cake tonight

Great efforts by Sam and Lenny to come back after being injured.
It was good to see Sam back on the ground and the strong support from the crowd whenever he got a touch.
And a great gutsy effort by Lenny.
Well done boys.

We'd been copping it from those idiot filth supporters all night.
When the third goal went through in that last quarter I stood up, turned around, face those drunken fools and did the GT and thumped my heart with my fist, to show
"This is coming from the heart, with all of the courage this team can muster"

So proud of our men, all playing for each other, all stood up when needed. What a platform for the rest of the season and beyond. I too shed a tear, stood up in my lounge room and clapped and sang. Think i/ we may have converted my girlfriend to love our mighty saints.

Said to my mate after the game ...This is what Premiership teams do...One of if not the most gutsiest, team galvanising wins i will ever see. Everyone that played last night has belief ! In themselves, each other and the game plan that they are so so disciplined in. Showed the greater football public that we are alot more than a one man band and that we have the spirit and undefinable passion for the club that will go a long way toward the ultimate prize. Go You Mighty Saints !
