Brat, what do the underlines on Geary and Howard represent. Disappointng that Pattison is named on the bench, although I suppose if he is to play as second ruck then he would start on the bench regardless.

Maybe this year?

Is that Will Johnson in the reserves?

Strange, I thought he was a ready made senior (backup) player and he can't get a game for Sandringham seniors.

Great news indeed, blokes like Peake, Geary and even Ray will have to keep on working hard if they plan on keeping their spot in the side...

Bernard said Tommy Walsh is playing at CFB. Hope Tommy doesn't get confused when he looks for that non existent position, or is it a position in Gaelic Football.

My apprentice now plays for Frankston, i can't tell if he's in the Seniors or Reserves from that list...his surname is listed twice....i'll ask him tomorrow...

Love his "on the ground" stories.......especially when he played on Jordan McMahon...classic.....it's what we miss in the stands.....the "on ground" banter.... :lol:

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ? :lol:

yeah, good get.

looks like current injuries are:

winmar (now 8 weeks out)
dempster (now 6 weeks out)
lynch (first week out)
j smith (now forever out)
miles (now 4 weeks out)
simpkin (now 8 weeks out)
mcgrath (now 3 weeks out?)

excellent to see steven and hutchings back from injuries. steven obviously has huge potential and i'm hoping that hutchings will be another hard worker like cj.

No chance Ray will be dropped, Ray has to be the most under-rated player in our midfield.

worries me a lot... especially to those - "heck who cares we rejected pick 30 for nothing and then lost 16 on a gamble - we have tom walsh and will johnson" types.

just hope simpkin comes on as a backman.

I am wondering if one of the Johnsons named is actually supposed to be Clay Johnston, No.15 on the Sandringham list.

T. Johnston & C. Johntson have both been named in the reserves side.
Johnston named on the bench in both the seniors and reserves.

Tomi Johnston is the son of Wayne (the Dominator) Johnston. Zebraman will be able to comment on his more recent performances, but as a junior he had a great football brain, showed some potential. He did train with the Blues at some stage.

I am still hurting from 71;
my gut churns thinking of 97;
2009 was agony,
2010a was a pleasure to watch only to be devastated by 2010 b.
It hurts barracking for the Saints
