Funny that O'Bree was dropped this week after he was "highly praised by the coaching staff after the game".
Nothing like using a blatant lie to prove a point, eh?
No, he is the new Cain Ackland...in more ways than one if you know what I mean
He jumped too early??
I think he jumped at the right time!!
He isnt in our best 22
1/ Both walked out on the Saints.
2/ Swapped clubs to maintain remuneration of more than he is worth (Can't blame him for that though.. But timed supoerbly as both if they had stayed would have been playing reserves footy))
3/ Will disappoint the fans of his new club
There's some food for thought there. Personally, I'm not shocked that he's started the season quietly - the games step up from preseason, and he's still learning his role at a new club. I think he'll be fine, and an asset to the pies.
HOWEVER
Beginning with a couple of comments on Footy Classified last night, I can see the media starting to turn as he doesn't provide immediate results in line with profil and cap hit... and that's where this could get interesting. Regardless of what his actually salary is, he eats a chunk of their cap in line with being a top shelf mid. If he isn't performing at that level, the crowing may disappear, as he's supposed to be a significant piece of the pie (no pun intended), to the extent that that being tied up in a 2nd tier player will really hurt their ability to fill that hole.
Luke Ball has done alright out of the club swap, and St Kilda has lost out on any return. It's still possible that the Pies may end up losers in the deal as well...

His kicking though,it's just horrid. What happened...was it GT? He was a pretty reasonable kick in his early days, now he is the worst in the league by a street. He needs to keep finding it in the packs, otherwise his foot skills will end his career in the next 2 years
