When the 1998 draft rolled around, the Swans rejected Hayes not once, not twice, but three times before St Kilda called his name at pick No. 11.
While two of Sydney's choices proved major successes - Nic Fosdike (No. 3) and Jude Bolton (No. 8) both won a premiership with the club - No. 4 selection Ryan Fitzgerald had his career cruelled by injuries and went on to make his name on Big Brother.
we're glad your a saint Lenny
as an addendum- I have heard and read many times that Lenny is holding the One club Player to the top of his choices-- but after wards? who knows.

That doesn't sound all that convincing.
I thought the same thing, but honestly can't see Lenny going anywhere, especially at 32

I read it and it doesn't concern me.
Looks like a throw away line to a question you would expect a journo to ask (particularly given the angle of the whole story).
I'd say Lenny would want to stay but things can change very quickly in footy.
AND if he starts to struggle a bit, AND GWS start throwing silly money at him, AND he's got his St.Kilda premiership medallion around his neck, well who knows?
We didn't give you Robert Harvey and we wont give you Lenny Hayes.
So go flush yourself down a West Sydney sewer.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
