Sandy ended up going down I would say but no scoreboard so hard to tell. Thought from a Saints point of view they would be very happy with Gardiner and Pattison in the ruck who both did well, Robert Eddy looked fantastic but unfortunately got injured again, not sure what it was but I saw him throw his water bottle away in disgust and looked very dejected. Tommy Walsh looked good but a few times just did the wrong thing due to not properly understanding the game, he will get better. Young Hutchings looks the goods and is a hard worker. Heyney, Paul Cahill and Lynchy flashed in and out of the game. Ali Smith looks set for a ripper season. Rhys Stanley would be disappointed with his game and just couldn't get into it. Probably the best for Sandy was Gardiner who will be right for round 1 vs the Swans
Cheers for the link.

Jeez, Al Smith. Will he play seniors this year??

Only a niggle or two away I reckon.

Maybe Walshy might be a FB.
thanks bb.

great news about gards - i feel sorry for the selectors having to pick 2 ruckmenffrom 3 all year.

bad luck to eddy. long season though. seems like al smith is a certainty to see senior footy this year at some stage or another.

also im real glad we have pattison - we might not need him this year but we will certainly need him next year.

FB might certainly be a spot for TW early while he learns the game. did he do anything good? like get any kicks?

no scoreboard at Whitten Oval...but Williamstown won the seniors...not by a big margin...would have been a lot more if they had kicked straight
anything else of note zebraman?
well...the new Bulldogs facility looks pretty good....even if there is still a bit of work to do there...the visitors change rooms were actually the toilets...another [ractice match next Saturday at Visy park Vs the Northern Bullants...
In an unrelated topic how come the Bulldogs are allowed by the AFL to expand their pathetic club yet rely on AFL money to survive year in year out?

Oh and Carlton as well. Carlton owe the AFL millions yet open us these amazingly awesome orgasmic facilities despite owning everyone everything

It a make a no sense!

Excellent idea, without Carlton and Footscray the AFL would return to 16 clubs in 2012.

(I refuse to participate in Footscray F C's marketing as something else).

The first 3 quarters were even but Willy played better as the match went on and with no scoreboard I think we went down by 4 goals ? Willy had 13 Footscray and Sandy had 13 St Kilda in their sides so it was at times good football.
Sandy need to get their whole team together pretty soon and cut out going backwards when they have the ball
