Playing in the VFL this week? !!

Post: # 894100Post Eastern »

Does anyone know which "Saints Listed Players" have been granted permission to play for Sandringham this weekend?

This could go a long way to determining who is/might be in the mix for Rd 1 !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

In part...but will also allow those who are underdone to get another game into them and in particular Gardi.

It's not this weekend, it's tomorrow at 4pm at Whitten Oval v Willy.

I'll be there. Don't know who we've got playing.

Yes, seniors at 4pm and reserves at 6pm.

You'd like to think it would have been the other way around but I don't suppose VFL practice games are set up for the public to watch. :)

I'm happy with those times. Will be able to see the Victory win as well.

St Kilda ruckman Michael Gardiner is pushing for a senior recall in round one against Sydney by tonight playing his second VFL practice match in a week.

Gardiner, who last season enjoyed his best year in three seasons at Moorabbin, has had limited match practice during the pre-season because of knee tendonitis.

St Kilda has not recruited Sands yet.

9 St Kilda senior listed players with limited match practice plus 5 of the 7 rookies.

Means that the club's injury list is deceiving us on Dempster, Winmar, McGrath and Simpkin.
60% accurate that must be a pass.

Peake and Miles would not be eligible to play because they played in every round of the NAB Cup. You need to get permission to play for Sandy this week on the basis of limited preparation.

It's no indication of whether they will play next week.

NO Raph ?????????????

We were told he had a "Grade 1 Hamstring" that he did in the first five minutes of the Intra-Club game.

Effectively, that's SIX WEEKS for a Grade 1 Hammy. Something ain't adding up here   !!

Ah. I did not know that - first time for everything I guess.

Cheers.

His brother once missed 5 weeks with a flu like hammy.
