Re: Fisher out for 4 weeks
I think the "at least" is significant. I suspect it will be longer. Two weeks till Round 1 and the first 4 rounds will be 6 weeks. My opinion is 8 weeks.bobmurray wrote:The radio this evening said Sam Fisher will miss at least a month

Not calling you a lier but I could've sworn Lyon was on sports tonight saying not as bad as first expected, but I may have miss heard (or Lyon was talking about not as bad as a full knee that they thought it could've been when he did it).

As good a guess as anyone else.
As good a guess as anyone else.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Re: Fisher out for 4 weeks
You are just speculating on what someone says on the radio. Just because "at least" was added you think it will be 8 weeks. Someone at The Age says a return by round 4. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/s ... -q65a.htmlMilan Faletic wrote:I think the "at least" is significant. I suspect it will be longer. It shytes me with the media that they are too dumb not to eek out some better detail.
In any case, looks like Round 4 return at best.
We should have 3 wins on the board (Sydney game we may drop, the next 3 should be fine).

ST KILDA defender Sam Fisher looks set to be sidelined for up to six weeks after injuring his right ankle in Saturday night’s NAB Cup loss to the Western Bulldogs.
Fisher left the ground early in the game and went straight to the rooms, where he was seen icing his ankle.
He played no further part in the game.
Initial reports had Fisher missing the first three rounds of the season, but the Saints confirmed on Monday afternoon that he would be out for four to six weeks after undergoing an arthroscope.
