Lenny?

Any official word from the club regarding his apparent injury???

Or are we purely relying on the word of Rohan Smith from the Foxtel coverage?

Thanks Saint Bev.

I actually just listened to Ross and he said the same.

Sorry mods for jumping the gun.

While were on Lenny, I think that while we need him if we are going to win a flag it wouldn't hurt for him to be out for a little while.

This would give our other mids a chance, or force them to take the next step... a bit like what happened after Banger retired.

His calf strain is a real worry....they are bloody hard to recover from without substantive rest.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's not available until about Round 4.

Not a calf strain. The official version is a corked calf, which is a lot different to a strain.

Ross said he could play this week if it was round one.

Yeah but what "we" say and what we get are almost always not the same.

If he needs his calf massaged, I am sure there is plenty here who would offer their services. But I am 1st in line

The Dog gets older and the man with the leash will contain him further. Our season last year will be confirmed by our willingness to give the Dog the time he needs. He will be given various breaks during the year purely because we need him in Sept to frighten the f&%$ out of anyone in a black and white jumper, "how are things, Neon Leon" (in the early rounds).

Trust me, we will get the Dog through. Ross Lyon's man love for the Dog will prevail.
