Southern Cross Station is closed, most areas of the city is flooded, most public transport have delays/cancellations - most likely called off.

Southern Cross has heaps of ice on the roof, so they are not taking any chances. It will just depend on how long it takes to melt (it's still 20 degrees, so shouldn't be that long).

Talkbak caller just rang and said he's outside Etihad and they wont let him in. SEN translate that as a real sign there will be no game cos "you'd think the gates would be open by now"

Caller now saying only on section of an inside roof bit has collapsed.....Not the actual roof roof.

Oh well, SC isn't gonna be fixed anytime soon. Those air balloons are meant to collapse under pressure. Bad news is that they will take months to replace, so there'll be a lot of not stopping trains through SC in the meantime. I wonder how the new rectangular stadium fared.

Doubt they could knock a team out without even playing a game..especially with the prize money at stake.
More likely they will reschedule.

Looking at some of the photo's of the area around there...pretty bad flooding in docklands. Would be surprised if all the players etc can get there safely, let alone the crowd.

They'd better decide soon though...its getting late.
