if he's out of form in the season proper would they drop him or leave him in the side and wait for the penny to drop........
Your farken kidding!!
How many guys kicked 50 goals in 09
I don't know who's farken kidding but it ain't me....
why don't you watch the footy before you comment....
Anyways the fact is you can all call Kosi shite and whatever you want, but we have no one better to play in his position and before you guys say Stanley, if you think a 19 year old who is yet to debut in the proper season is going to do better than Kosi then we may as well give up.
Get over the fact that Kosi is no where near the player Riewoldt is and he is just a decent forward who would get a game at every other club bar Brisbane and Hawthorn.
Kosi.......

Yeah, well, whilst Fev is undoubtedly a better footballer, have we learnt nothing from recruiting knobs?
Did anyone read the mtach review re Brisbane's practice match. Fev was lazy, didn't chase and berated younger players when the ball wasn't delivered to him to his liking. And he's only played two games for em.....

I know there was talk of it a few years back after the Gia collision etc, but is there really something wrong with Kosi’s vision??
On Sat night, he went to take a what I would think was a fairly straight forward mark right in front of us and it looked like the he struggled with the lights. He seemed to not be able to see the ball properly or something .
Also, he did look quite slow and out of breath. Perhaps they are giving him some game time to get his fitness up. You can train the house down, but it doesn’t make up for real game practice.

Illuminate me. How does a team QUALIFY for finals?
Something to do with those insignificant 22 games that precede?
The GF form of Riewoldt, Kosi, Milne and Schneider individually and collectively on GF day was relatively shite too. On that basis, I think we need a whole new forward structure. Clearly the existing one is farked....
In all seriousness we have a stack of blokes who go to sleep in big games. Not just 23. Hopefully that worm will soon turn.
Tell you what though - snide cynicism aside - the emergence of Stanley as a MOBILE 200cm fwd target may well see Kosi and/or Rhys one out with med defender a lot of the time this year...
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Kosi wasn't alone. Everyone was fumbly. McQualter dropped a dolly in the middle when the game was tied if I recall. Peake spoilled a dolly on a wing at one point. Ray's hands weren't sure. Even Riewoldt's hands weren't as tacky overhead as usual. The Swans were equally uncertain I thought. I'm nt making excuses for individuals by analysing collectively BTW. It just was what it was.Maxstar22 wrote:I know there was talk of it a few years back after the Gia collision etc, but is there really something wrong with Kosi’s vision??

Preseason matches often have a lot of fumbles etc....Thinline wrote:Kosi wasn't alone. Everyone was fumbly. McQualter dropped a dolly in the middle when the game was tied if I recall. I expect it in Feb, don't want to see it in H&A season
True. There were alot of fumbles etc in the game and you always see that in the first few games of the new season (pre season and h&a), but to me it seemed alittle more than just fumbly fingers for Kosi. Maybe this vision thing is an issue under lights??saintlee wrote:Preseason matches often have a lot of fumbles etc....Thinline wrote:Kosi wasn't alone. Everyone was fumbly. Maybe I am just reading way too much into it. Or maybe he was still shaken from me stalking him down Wickham Rd on Sat morning
I watched the game on TV and Ross Lyon said he swapped Kosi and Roo around because Kosi needed the run.....so yes, it seems he is still building up his match fitnessMaxstar22 wrote:Also, he did look quite slow and out of breath. Kosi has had his shoulder strapped during the nab cup so far. I have not seen him with shoulder strapping before. Also had a fair bit of strapping on his hand on Saturday Night.
Not using these as a defence, but they could be a factor. Also, he always seems to take a while to get going.
Let's re-assess in 3 weeks. Until then, lets chill !!

Kosi has never been known to train the house down.Maxstar22 wrote: Also, he did look quite slow and out of breath. Perhaps they are giving him some game time to get his fitness up. You can train the house down, but it doesn’t make up for real game practice.
He does lack match fitness and Ross is trying to get some Ks into him.
