Steven and Heyne. Both look like calf or Hammy injuries.

Both looked ok. Would have loved to see them play better or get more chance (or no injuries)

Future looking ok

in afl.com.au match report

"Steven’s chase down tackling was a highlight of the night until he left the field with an ankle injury".

There is always more ice on players after the game than at the casino.

Yeah it looked like jack pulled up tight after a run outside 50 down the Lockett end. He was very ginger after it and seemed to head off the field. It didn't look like anything too serious though.

The club always keeps injury news close to it's chest so I wouldn't take the post-match injury report (no injuries) as gospel.

Heyne pulled-up very suddenly. From a glance it looked like a hammy, but couldn't tell you how severe.

Stevens actually had surgery on his ankle on tuesday to fuse bones together. should only be out 4 - 6 weeks.

He will miss 4 to 6 weeks but no bone fusion. By the way his name is Steven

Either way, it's a fair bloody blow to young Jack and to us eager supporters, anticipating a big breakout year from him.

5-6 weeks under Lyon, at this time of year, for mine means he's no chance of senior footy until at least after the half way mark of the season.

Any word on our current injuries? Goddard in his interview Friday mentioned LTI'S. Who is that? Smith? Is Eddy now an LTI? Am I missing someone? Lynch?

The club website says this.
Injury list as of Monday 22nd February 2010

Current injury list is as follows:

Raphael Clarke - Grade 1 hamstring, one week
Robert Eddy - ankle arthroscope, to be assessed
Jesse Smith - ankle, to be assessed
Jack Steven - sprained mid foot, 2-3 weeks
But it may as well say it with a picture of this
