Max Hudghton Tributes - to be passed on to the club

Max,
Your heart and spirit were an inspiration to us all. You bled for the club, and gave everything you had.
You were a real treasure. St Kilda is a better club for having had you, and we as fans were privileged to watch you play.
I hope your retirement is a happy one - you've earnt one a dozen times over.

Max,
As you've been my fav player for a while now, a few Xmas ago a portrait of you done by a friend of a friend was given to me. you signed the back saying they'd done you "too much justice".
1) What does "too much justice" even mean?
2) If you want it, let me know - it's really a kind of weird to own. It's a huge painting of a man wearing a tank top (not Saints gear) at the beach rendered in greyscale.
You were the human eraser, and I enjoyed watching your opponents disappear week in week out.
P.S. Since writing this, both my partner and brother have told me that if I ever let that portrait go, I'm going to experience sever living problems, likely but not necessarily limited to the challenge of breathing after being whaled on with an array of bludgeoning implements (baseball bats, maces, various hammers). On that basis, #2 is now off the table. I loved your on field work, but in a choice between me and you, there's only so self-sacrificing I'm going to be.
