I really liked them until I saw them in a game. I hope we ditch them next year.

Didn't like them at all except that they were the right colours.
I too didn't mind them when I first saw them but on the players in a team I just couldn't say I was impressed. Maybe I'm just a traditionalist.
Did like the one point win against Collingwood again though.

Looked ok from the front, but from the back it looked like we were wearing Carlton jumpers - they needed white trim on the sleeves and neck for mine.

NAB cup.

It basically is a form of training (for season proper), so I guess it's justified to be worn.

Seriously, I almost vomited when they ran out.
They are a truly crap jumper -- trying to do something different with the red white + black, and completely losing everything that's special.
Should be consigned to the bin immediately.
Never want to see it again (though fear I might).
Looked OK from the back I guess.

Looks good close up, not so good from the stands. It certainly didn't clash with the Collingwood jumper (they should be forced to wear that one for our home games).

I like it. Not near our traditional strip or candy stripe, but it's better than most alternative jumpers from recent years

It's strange, the other jumpers we've had aside from the traditional "slab" jumper were the candy stripe - based on our jumper we wore prior to the VFL's formation in 1897 until the red/yellow/black "V" jumper post World War 2; that awful "apron" jumper we wore in 2007-08, and the current away/clash jumper which is based on the jumper we wore throughout the late 1920's-1940's. The "cross" jumper we first wore in the 1996 Ansett Cup through until 2002 (with the yellow peril version worn in 2003 also) was based on the famous club crest, and even the yellow version can be forgiven to the extent that we actually wore red/yellow/black for a time.

This jumper is similar to the apron jumper - there is no historical backing to it, and rather than coming across as something "new", it just looks more like a St Kilda-themed t-shirt. I know it's just being worn for the NAB Cup...but it just feels totally unnecessary.

They we're red white and black, we won and looked a whole lot better than the crap jumper the other mob we're wearing.

Is it just me, but the red didn't look like our usual bright red.

I thought the black was a bit different too..... Dunno if it was the red missing from one of the sides but it just seems different from behind.

Might be the material being used.

Didn't mind it before seeing it in person, HATE IT NOW...

The club shield should never be the focal point of the jumper IMO... It Should take it's usual place on the heart...

I believe our home jumper should always remain the tri panel whereas our away/ clash should always be based around the cross...
