According to the stats on the AFL website, neither Goose nor X played.

according to the lions X is not supposed to be back until early season.

I was at the game yesterday and didn't see Goose or X on the field or around the bench. I'd say they stayed in Brissy.

Probably a good thing for them cause conditions were horrible.

Maguire was kept in Brisbane I think due to the weather conditions and X won't be playing in the AFL until round 8.

I did a lions free tour of the Gabba and facilities on Saturday and Goose was one of the players we got to talk to. He was actually acting like his namesake, and all I could think of was how 5 years ago he was untouchable and taking it up to J Brown. How times change. I couldn't bring myself to talk to him in Lions colors. he said he was available to play this weeks preseason game.

Raines was another of the players who spoke.

Selwood was another player, pure class and speaks very well. Couldn't get two words out of Power (I wanted to know if he was going forward this year and as to whether he'd be in my dreamteam! haha).
