In 2009 Roo was named AA captain, Ross Lyon was voted by his peers as coach of the year, Lenny came third in the brownlow.

If I ever want to check that I am not guilty of wearing 'rose coloured' glasses, I find comparing my sentiments against how the wider football community perceives our leaders continually shows that my trust is not misplaced.

Funnily enough I too hear those same people, and yes occasionally they set my teeth on edge too. yes, you would think that someone who has stated that they find a liar the worst thing a person can be, and who then accuses someone or in this case, two people of lying, they would produce substantive and corroborated evidence or would offer their humble apologies.

I mean it is a very big accusation. I dont know if what RF said is true or not, I would genuinely like to know from a corroborated source, because RF seems adamant. I would have though that most reasonable observers would have agreed that the burden of proof is on the accuser, in this case RodgerFox.

However it seems RodgerFox has gone all quiet when challenged hoping to move on to the next "controversy" and to call someone else a liar on that thread or threads.

I don't have much time for rf and his convolutions, but I don't think it's fair to say he attacked a "cancer sufferer". He attacked (in a not particularly vicious way) another "name" on an anonymous forum who then volunteered the information that he was a cancer sufferer.

Perhaps he should have apologised. Perhaps he did privately: I don't know.

But this is a forum of anonymous posters (albeit that some know each other in real life). As with the nonsense about White South Africans on the GF, we all need to stop taking offence on our own behalf, or that of others, in relation to posts by people whom we have never met, and possibly will

As some who have recently posted on this thread would be well aware, it wasn't so long ago that we had two identities flaming off at each other and whom I strongly suspect were both being operated by the same person.
