David Armitage question.
I'm just wondering as I couldn't seem to find the info anywhere, or maybe I just don't know where to look.
Do we know if Armitage is going to be in our best 22 with Ball gone?
How many games are we expecting him to play?
Thanks and sorry if this is completely unknown or has been said before.

No one could know that. Not even Lyon.siph wrote:

However Armo would have a very good chance to become a regular first 22 player in 2010..if he is good enough and can fulfill the role that the coach wants.
However Ball only makes one vacancy....and Peake, Geary, Steven and Armo are all competing to squeeze into the 22 in 2010.
Only good football will achieve this. Competition will be fierce.

One of the skills that Armo has which I really like is his goal kicking ability. He is a really good, accurate goal kicker and if I remember correctly (but my memory is pretty terrible!) he averages something like one goal a game. I remember a goal he once kicked in a NAB cup game, might have been a final, and it was really impressive. Can't remember the details, but I remember feeling that particular goal was a match-turner. Anyone else remember such a thing?

The armitage goal was against Essendon the week later IIRC, I seem to recall Roo and some other senior players going nuts on the bench...

Seems like an early waste of a trade to get him in after round 2..Especially as you would have to trade sideways to do it, which is always something you want to try to avoid (Unless you have an injury)skeptic wrote:Bingo, this is so a dream team/super coach question.#1GILL wrote:He better play all 22 games...I've got him locked in for my DT.
Me personally I've steered clear of Armo, way too expensive. Will wait and see the pre-season form or might wait and see how he's done at the end of round 2
