:P :P :P That would like be using the NAB cup from last year, I am sure after that performance against Brisbane no one in their wildest dreams would have put St Kilda to finish top.

A win or two or percentage between top three.

I don't think we'll start as well as last year, perhaps quite deliberately.

How anyone thinks Carlton can make the 8 sans Fev beggars belief.

Conversely Fev's inclusion and the Gabba factor MUST mean Lions will win at least 15. Surely?

Not sure about the lions at all, they have had two gun tall forwards for years now in Brown and Bradshaw, Bradshaw to Fev isn't that significant an improvement IMO...

Rich and Black are excellent players but other than Power they seriously lack some midfield depth, Patful and Merret are handy players but they can be easily beaten by some of the premier forwards...

They will simply make the numbers in the finals before bottoming out in the next few years IMHO...

12 months ago, I thought what you think about the Lions: outside the small group of big name players, they were pretty ordinary. But I reckon that Voss has brought their fringe players along really well, so I think the Lions are on an upward path ATM and I fully expect them to make the 8.

I don't think we'll start as well as last year, perhaps quite deliberately.
hope not.

i think a good start's vital and you have to shore up a top eight, top four and top two position ASAP.

round 1 counts for as many premiership points as round 22.

all that said, we still have to peak at the right time, that being september.

Snap!! Same list as mine.

I also agree Gibbs is a reasonable bet for the Brownlow.

I don't think the Kangas will be the wooden spooners. I think Freo are looking good for that, with Port not far behind: too much disruptive stuff going on behind the scenes at both those clubs.

We actually have this competition at work the past 3-4 years. You predict the top 8, brownlow, wooden spoon, who plays off in the grand final and the winner.

3 points for correct team in top 8 in correct position
2 points for correct team in 8 but one position off
1 point for correct team in 8 but more than one position out

1 point for guessing everything else

$5 entry, most points takes all.

We seal the envelopes when the season begins and open them up Grand Final week and it's interesting seeing the results.

Agree.

Back to back 20 and 2 H and A seasons just seems so far off...to be honest I'm still exhausted from the ride that was 2009...Perhaps my ongoing exhaustion is reflected in my prediction !
