and he looked good in that game... but i really hope the recruiters saw something more than 1 good game.BringBackMadDog wrote:30 odd possessions in a prelim final as a 19 yo, I would say he has some abilityborderbarry wrote:I have never noticed Jesse Smith on the playing field. If he is anywhere near as good as his Dad he will be an excellent pick-up.
obviously they knew he'd be a longer term prospect... but doesn't hindsight put a lot more pressure on the use of this trade.

there was an article when we recruited him that mission and co will need to alter his running movement by about 2 degrees if i remember correctly....so first of all he will need to learn how to walk a certain way before he is able to jog/run so that the new running movement that he is going to have will work and wont cause hamstring issues like in the past....

The structural change in his walk means rehabilitation - relearning, flexibility, strengthen under used muscles. What's the point in running if you're not doing it how you need to be. Once he has changed this - and this will take time - then you start the running work. 2010 will be a rebuild year but if it works he'll be an excellent addition for 2011. Anything better than this will be a miracle.there was an article when we recruited him that mission and co will need to alter his running movement by about 2 degrees if i remember correctly....so first of all he will need to learn how to walk a certain way before he is able to jog/run so that the new running movement that he is going to have will work and wont cause hamstring issues like in the past....
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.
