Thank you for everyone for their suggestions esp St Fid for suggesting to contact Ben Hall.
If anyone is interested I will post a pic of the jumper once i get it framed.
I am so happy as I know it will make her day!!
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!
Glad to hear you got a good result. It would be great if you'd post a pic. Best wishes for later in the month for your grandma's birthday. I hope I'm still cheering the boys on when I'm 90!IluvHarvey wrote:Just a quick update for anyone who was interested.

Shattered dreams are just opportunities for improvement. Live and learn, fail and try harder. 2011 beckons.

When and or will you run for a board position?barks4eva wrote:You seem to be pissed off with the current administration, what's your main beef?gazrat wrote:If I was in PR, and I heard of a life long supporter celebrating an upcoming 90th birthday, I would see the potential for sure.
and hopefully one read by some marketing types at the Club
thanks , i needed a laugh this morning
big picture to this mob , means bigger portraits of the administrators down the hallways of self delusion , in my opinion
its all there ... the makings of the powerhouse club in the land ... never say die supporters who give everything for **** in return
if the current pr people cant see the way ahead , eff em off , and give the job to me
wankers
aside from
screwing over level two seat holders without prior consultation,
changing the goalposts and screwing over foundation social club members at the expense of LOYALTY,
moving the club to Seaford,
What have the current board done to you, to make you so annoyed?

wouldn't want a board position
plenty of chiefs already
if u really want to 'know' something , go to the coalface not the cocktail party
'the clubs relationship to its members and supporters ' is the issue
theres plenty of room for a broader , more inclusive , family (club) orientated , effort recognition system with a dash of human awareness approach that is truly supportive of those that support the main entity
in relation to ... 'the clubs relationship to its members and supporters ' ... a year to observe what they do , learn the available resources , construct the new vision and create its resources , then start implimentation in year two
long term thinking for long term members /supporters (coz thats what we are ) with the long term best interests of the club in mind
win win ... bigtime for both parts
the surge in membership , interest and excitement as / from when blighty was appointed until we levelled off , needs to be repeated
...can there be a better time ?
our true strength remains untapped ... imo
they can do it for frankston
The St Kilda Football Club commits to deliver to its members and supporters the very best in human relationship which will provide flow on benefits, both social and economic, to both our membership and the main entity.

I was actualy directing the question to B4E but if you was to run Gaz I'd vote for you as long as you get me into the cocktail partiesgazrat wrote:wouldn't want a board position

PS I think the club has improved a little in it's communication with the fans and members but obviously has a long way to go.
The Level2 fiasco is a work in progress but I guess you can't please everyone, although that would be nice.

Yeah Ben is a total Saints fan even though he followed another club before he joined the Saints and the executives at the Club, much like some others, that followed other teams, but they are now true Sainters and have been won over by the Club and Fans and do a fantastic job...Eastern wrote:Great Stuff.
