I was only at three games all year so getting to see Gardiner's mark and goal against Geelong was special.
Reiwoldt's two goals in the last quarter of the Prelim were magical. I was 16000 km away watching with my dog and I just went from utter despair to pure joy in a matter of minutes. Only the dog knows how excited I was.

Milney's run-down tackle from behind on Ben Hudson in round 17. The size difference was absurd.vacuous space wrote:There would have to be some tackles in there, but none are coming to mind.
Other memorable crunches: Lenny's (Army Award nominated) contested ball smash into Dean Brogan in round 5. Zac's shirtfront on a charging Ryan O'Keefe in round 1.
Other memories: BJ's 4-goal 1st quarter against West Coast that kick-started the rout. Round 16 2nd quarter, Adelaide so terrified by the Saints' defence they refused to kick it out of their back 50.
collingwood muppets
yep , thats pretty special kris
waving goodbye to the filth supporters at the dome before half time was good , but waving goodbye at the first final was awesomely satisfying for me
we were up on our chairs , hands clapping above our heads , mouths moving in unison ....... seneffensational
on a personal level ...
theres still two collingwood supporting , knee knocking limp wristers , who whilst first on the attack are always last at the 'umblepie eatering table , that havn't as of Jan "10 , communicated with me in any way since that game
scum of the highest order ... get some red in your colours , ya fairyfloss manufactures
pathetico
u lose ... bye boys ... .... keep walking whilst your talk'n
i've collected a 'bundle of sticks' in your honour

Great reading everyone else's highlights and I liked (& agreed with) all of them but what I also really enjoyed was winning all those interstate games at grounds that we have always had so much trouble winning on!
Beating Port Adelaide in Adelaide - what a long wait - Priceless!
Beating Hawthorn at Launceston (our graveyard ground)
Accounting for the Weagles (& Freo?? - gone blank - can't remember this one properly at all - if it existed???).
Beating Sydney by less than goal in Sydney!
Now we just have to beat Brisbane in Brisbane (another graveyard for us) in 2020!

We only played Freo once, didn't face them at Subi. We must be due.
Oh, and I'm a little bit more ambitious... I'd like to see us beat Brisbane at the Gabba in 2010.

A few more of my favourites.
Joey's goal against the Crows in Round 2.
Ray's goal against the Crows in Round 2 - the expression on his face on the jumbo screen!
BJ's four first quarter goals against the Eagles in Round 3 - should have been five!
Smashing Port at AAMI - what isn't to love about that?
Roo killing Morris in Round 6 - made even sweeter due to Smith propping up 'Morris is never beaten' myth. Wathcing Ray light it up against his old club was also a treat.
Destroying an under-manned Magpies outfit. Roo kicked five on Presti and Milne and Schneider's put on one of the most dominate small forward displays you'll ever see.
Kosi's six goals against North in Round 11.
Zac kicking the sealer against the Blues.
Gardiner's four goals against the Cats.
Ray collecting 39 disposals against the Crows in Round 16.
Beating the Swans by a point at the SCG - no repeat of 2004 for you!
The win against the Hawks. Big Ben being a forward presence, Armitage's tackle on Mitchell and Steven's goal - hopefully more to come from these lads.
Roo again killing Presti in the Qualifier.
Zac's tackle on Johnson in the preliminary. Fisher's ever-important 55m goal, Roo's soccer-style sealer and Kosi's game-saver in defence were also gems in nail-bitter. I kicked over my scotch and coke when the siren sounded.
Despite the pain of the grand final, it's still a season worth remembering.
2010, CARN YOU F**KING SAINTERS!

My favourite moment from 2009 was without doubt the final siren in the Prelim Final. After so many heartbreaks to know we were there was the single greatest feeling ive had watching football.
Some others that stick out are
The boys running out on Grand Final day
the win against Hawthorn in Tassie
round 14 against the Cats
destroying the Pies the the Qual
obviously the winning streak was very special too
Bring on season 2010

There were a lot of good moments in our 2009 season, but all were brought undone by our performance in the GF where a few players just didn't give their all in the most important game of the year, and that was all that was needed to get us over the line. Lets move on and look for the ultimate success in twenty ten.
Your kidding, big difference between not playing well and not giving their all.spert wrote:There were a lot of good moments in our 2009 season, but all were brought undone by our performance in the GF where a few players just didn't give their all in the most important game of the year, and that was all that was needed to get us over the line.
