What's the history of number 6? I remember that red-headed bloke who used to be Tim Watson's team mate disappointing in it, and Fish tried hard but hasn't kicked on as expected. When was the last time a gun wore number 6?

should I mention an ex freo shocker?
Yes that's who I meant. The Freo Shocker played at Essendon with Watson before. Tony Delany was his name. He played 15 games for Essendon in 1993-94, 25 games for Freo 95-99 and 33 games for us 2000-01, although I don't think he was that bad was he? I seem to remember his career had been cruelled by injuries somewhat. Poor bloke played 78 games and only won 21 times (27%). In fact in eight seasons he only played in one where he enjoyed more wins than losses (Freo in 1997 who finished 12th but won 5 of 8 when Delany played). He only won 4 games out of 33 with the Saints (12% - Ouch!), but he achieved something I never could - 78 AFL games and got to sing the Saints song playing along side Robert Harvey!

Yes much better calling a person a tool for no reason at all.
I know you're pretty much tongue firmly in cheek most of the time (and I'm not talking about your personal life), but quit with harassing SainterK and Solar. They're decent mate.
If you fully read the thread you will understand I actually didnt start any harassing.

He is NOT
He is STAYING.

I personally don't think jumper numbers matter much, but its good recognition for the youngsters I guess....especially CJ, who had a fantastic year in 09! He deserves the recognition for his efforts....

Thanks Quixote, but P66 didn't harrass me, I just thought he was being a bit mean....
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)
I know people on here rate him but the club must really rate Steven too.
It is a fair compliment to be given the number three seeing as unlike CJ he is yet to cement his position at the club.
Interesting Lovett got 9 . Definately a number which neans he is expected to be in our first 20 to be picked ? Message to him , you are here ..now behave and give your all , return our faith in you.
I for one am excited about him playing for the Saints.
