I would absolutely guarantee that our list management people did look at him, like they would have looked at every player who nominated for the draft.

They obviously felt that there were other players who were preferable to him, and selected accordingly.

Seems like all 16 Clubs rated him lower than the Gold Coast because everybody 'passed' on him until their first pick. And listening to him being interviewed it sounded like they were more interested in him as a 'mentor' for their young kids than as a player.

With Peake, Lovett and our most recent youngsters like Armo, Steven, Geary I think they might've been happy with the mid field. Poor mans Luke Ball is correct I reckon.
