Very happy with Smith, not as happy with Pattison.

Hawks wanted both Smith and Pattison, but we beat them to it.

Rapt with Smith could be a gun for us... either way it cost us barely anything. Not too sure about Pattison i suppose if King and/or Gardi get injuried we'd be in trouble and it creates more competition for McEvoy. I don't really rate him but i suppose our coaching staff do if they took him especially considering we already have 3 recycled players and 1 new draftee this year.

adam pattison was a hawk supporter and his brother made him keep his membership not sure if that still happens . good luck with smith for you guys and all other draftee's !

Just put in the bin the number 14 jumper my son had worn for 5 years also the posters!
Luke very disappointed you were not in the best 12 players in the comp when we dont perform we have to realise that sometimes we have to take a paycut.

Could we expect another mature (perhaps lower league) player with our final selection then?

Would be unusual to start selecting recycled players before your youth lists have expired.

Wouldn't be surprised to hear Maguire or Fisher...

Happy with the picks. Jesse Smith well worth a shot at 60. I guess the club wanted another backup ruckman and Pattison has some ability. Remember where Pattison has been for the past few years. He is coming to a stable club thirsting for a flag so fingers crossed.
