Hey guys,
Cheers for all your efforts on Sunday in s*** house conditions. Thanks to everyone who made the trip out to Vic Park. It was a good day. Had you kicked straight you may have had the pleasure of facing the Demons instead of us.
Anyway, was wondering if you lads were keen on having a stand alone game against us at the end of the month?
December gets hectic for everyone due to Christmas and all that, so I thought the end of this month would be perfect before the year is out?
I think it's only fitting that we have a game given our rivalry and the fact that both our forums particpated in the first match from what I understand.
Thoughts?
Cheers
PJ

i told MagpieDan and witty we are up for a game early next year but i guess this year is a maybe, if we have it at the end of this month thats sunday the 29th, whats very soon, and as you said December is hectic, so i think late Jan when people start going back to work/school is the best time.
HD what do you think?
btw, who ever said we wanted to play melbourne? we would of got done by 20 goals

I think if the Kangas want a game, then let's go down that path. Someone different. Try and get more groups involved in this. Maybe the Doggies and ..er... um.. the cats!!?? gulp.
I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

So will be a matter of logistics....Also believe it or not, have the Kangaroos sniffing around.

I think he meant North Melbourne Football Club...although, there's probably not enough of them interested in playing football either.saintdooley wrote:i didnt know they had enough supporters out there to make a teamHarveysDeciple wrote:Have had an approach from the Bombers as well.

Spoke to a couple of Kangaroos fans who reckon they have got 12 together at least already, and could get that up around 20.
Dees at this stage are at another level of ability and intention.
Hell bent on winning these games at all costs, we aren't really at that level, and numbers a slight issue as well.
Bombers a good bunch of blokes, would like to play them as well.
And the Pies/ Blues outright, or perhaps one more round robin somewhere down the track.
