I thought the turn out against the dees in the last game of the year was pretty good. Didn't we get something like 40,000 there? Pretty good against a bottom side who had NOTHING to play for and were believed to be tanking and a top side who had that spot sewn up 6 weeks earlier.

Against Pies 70,000+
Against Hawks 55,000
Against Bombers 60,000+
Also...

Just what will happen to reserved seat holders for your suggested extra home games??

Do they get screwed over and are just given an area and it's first in best dressed?

This reserved seat holder gives up all his rights to a reserved seat if/when we play home games at the G. A few beers with the gang at the corner pre-game then off to the G en-masse where we all sit in the same area and continue to tak bullchyt whilst supporting THE MIGHTY SAINTS.

I fully understand that this may not be the scene for all reserved seat holders and that some, quite rightly DO NOT wish to give up the rights & priveliges that THEY PAID FOR !!

Well thank you Tom...

Just what the flower is going to happen to our "home" game at the MCG against Geelong for reserved seat holders???

Yes, last year was a non event as we played Melbourne in round 22 at the G as the trade off game for the home game at the Gold Coast...

But next year is a worry for all reserved seat holders IMO...

What would be one of the best games of the season (anticipated) reserved seat holders may just have a reserved space (more than likely behind the goals), and it will be first in best dressed, which is crap if you are a reserved seat holder and have work commitments that restrict you to attending any match early.

At least you have the good of the club in your thinking. Imagine for one game in the year not getting your normal reserved seat. Its a disgrace.

Fid

Why don't you read what is posted before going off half cocked. I said that I make my own arrangements at these games but others, who have paid for their reserved seats deserve to receive what they paid for in relation to reserved seats.

I was sympathising with those who are disadvantaged by this situation. Read it again. SLOWLY, and try to read what was posted, NOT what you think the post means.

Also, if you have a gripe with this subject. SPEAK TO SOMEONE AT THE CLUB. Whinging on here aint gunna do you any good !!

Surely the membership and cost for reserved seating could be altered to reflect games at the MCG.....

would like to point out that unlike the social club members who usually sit on level 1, only the reserve seat members were looked after by the club for the melbourne game. Did not hear anyone bitch and moan about that.

Spinner they might or they could just do what they did with the round 22 last year and give them bays at the MCG.

If it meant more money for the club and more games at the MCG I would be happy to give up my social club level 1 seats for this but others have their own views. At least it would be sorted before they bought their reserved seats (you know what your buying).

Good point, Social club members just got granted access.

I truly wish all our games could be at the MCG.

Love that place.

Better atmosphere.
Better turf.
Greater capacity.

Its just the vibe. I dont need a roof.

You're the disgrace........

Geez you can be such a smarta$$ @ times

Just like your comment re your least favourite preference to attend a match is Saturday arvo matches, stating that we have played very little at that time slot in the last few years when questioned by a poster re your answer.

You are just full of it, aren't you????

I purchase 3 season tickets with reserved seats and 3 x Social Club Memberships.

I also attend Club functions x 3 (which aren't cheap) and also purchase raffles tickets and bid at auctions @ these venues.

I do have the "good of the club in my thinking" as I put in a considerable amount of $$$ each year.

My question was legitimate, with respect to reserved seating for members, in what probably be the most anticipated match for the home and away season next year, and again it a St Kilda home match. The Club assured me that it wont be the same situation as last year's match against Melbourne (round 22).

The Club is still working on it, but I was informed that the big difference is that it is OUR HOME GAME whereas the Melbourne match was Melbourne's designated home match, but Saints Members were allowed free entry and a designated area for seating as compensation for the Queensland match.

As for you Eastern...

BITE ME!!!!!

You are my hero with the amount of money you put in. If it wasnt for you the club may go under. Fancy giving up your little 3 reserved seats to sit at another stadium that may even have better seats. As for your comment regarding the Saturday day games, well like most things you say I dont see your point. Did i mention you are my hero for the amount of money you give the club.

There you go again, being a smart a$$, and that is my point, flowing blind freddy can see that.

You were the one that stated sarcastically ....

My original post was not about "my normal reserved seat" it was if the Club would offer a reserved seat at the MCG instead of a reserved area.
Of course I am not going to have my flowering normal reserved seat, if the flowering game is at the MCG.

You maybe stupid enough to sit in an empty stadium on a Friday night, if you in fact have a reserved seat and demand you want to sit there, but again, that was not what I was suggesting I do in my post.

Has that sunk in yet???

Again....

And my point is you are a whinger. For the good of the club if your seat isnt as good as a Etihad then just live with it. it is just one game. You have form on this, just remember when they were going to change the cats game this year.

If I am a "whinger" you're a dead set "wanker"...

This so called "FORM" was mainly about the logistics and costs of relocating a match that has already been signed off...

It has never happen before and I would doubt it ever will...

Get a flowering clue

I have a fair idea about your "form", and that's being a flowering smart a$$....

IMO you tried in vain with your post about ...

"At least you have the good of the club in your thinking. Imagine for one game in the year not getting your normal reserved seat. Its a disgrace."

Again, my question was legitimate and I was mainly asking a question if reserved seat holders will have a reserved seat at the Saints HOME game at the MCG in probably the biggest game of the home and away season for next season...

Just try to live with legitimate question yourself and stop being a smart a$$

Whoa up there kids..take a big cup of calm the **** down :-)

I reckon the original argument was about having 3-4 home games at the G and how the reserved seating would work

Dont quote me on this, but I have a feeling that Essendon reserved seat members buy a seat for ES for their home games there and another seat at the G for their home games there..therefore no matter where they are playing their reserved seat holders are looked after.

For just one home game at the G tho I reckon Level 1 and 3 reserved seat holders will be given an Level 1 'area' on the wing in the GSS and Level 2 seatholders ditto on Level 2. No its not quite the same as our nice "own" seat at ES but for one game I'll cope no dramas. If for some reason in the future we WERE allocated more home games there I'd want something a bit more concrete in the way of "my" seat

I will not "take a big cup of calm the **** down "...

I raised a legitimate query about the Home/Away game at the MCG with respect to reserved seat members, and this smart a$$ has continued with his crapola re "not getting your normal reserved seat"...

The FACT is that it was NOT about "my normal reserved seat"

FLOWERING OBVIOUS one would think....

This was originally meant for posters that have a reserved seat, and I somewhat doubt that the poster I was conversing with has one...

If this poster does not have one, why the flower comment on something that does not directly concern him???

Unless this poster is up to the normal "baiting" like in the his preference for days and times for next season and the posters least favourite was Saturday afternoons...

Gee, he did come up with a beauty with that comment that we have played very few games on a Saturday afternoon in recent history, hence that's why it was his least favourite...

FLOWERING BRILLIANT!!

Plugger66, you are nothing but a baiter, and yes, I have responded...

But being labelled as whinger by this poster was just a joke, I have a legitimate post about members that are reserved seats holders in the most anticipated match for next year, and has turned it around and called me a whinger .....

HE CAN GO FLOWER HIMSELF !!!

And he can buy a reserved seat for once in his life

Touché ......

I could not give a continental where you sit and I have no interest of knowing for that matter...

yes, your little tip is well noted and please may I suggest this....

Watch your sarcasm...

Watch your bleeding obvious and unnecessary remarks...

You are more than likely not a reserved seat member, and why the flower you entered into this thread is also a stamp on your obvious taint in playing games with posters...

Here's an idea...

Flower off on a topic does not directly concern you and don't bother trying to bait posters on matters that does not directly concern you

Now run along and annoy another poster, I am sure you have a few on you list

I'd love to know how you would think i am not a reserved seat holder. We all know on this site you are and so are your family. We know this about you because you keep telling us and also telling how much money you give the club. You probably saved them through SOS as well.

Anyway I am going to flower off whatever that means. Just one thing do you work in a nursery?

i think our lack of exposure to the MCG in 2009 is underrated as a factor for what happened in the grand final. it doesn't explain everything, but it's underrated as a factor.

the club should have pushed for more matches at the 'G in 2010 and the AFL should have obliged.

You guys are absolutely classical.
If the Saints don't change these 3 games to the MCG then they are stupid for many reasons.

Don't worry plugger, I reckon St Fid's problem is that he doesn't understand that he is paying for a reserved seat next year for 10 games, and gets entry to 11.

It's fair and plain simple IMO - we are NOT (for 2010) talking about a Jihad game being transferred to the MCG.

St Fid - if you don't like the deal, don't buy a reserved seat next season.

Now flower off the two of you

No you're wrong...

We all had 10 games for reserved seats this year as well, as 1 of our home games was in Queensland.

The club informed me that next season will be different to the free entry we had to the Melbourne game as that was not our home game.

Again next year will be different (and so it should be), as it will be our home game at the MCG.

Do you understand the difference

Just how did you come up with the comment that reserved seat holders will be paying for 10 reserved seats next year???????

YOU GOT ANY FACTS TO BACK THIS???

I know what's plain and simple and that's your thought process.

Just what deal are you talking about that I don't like???

The Club is still in negotiations about the HOME match at the MCG against Geelong and have stated that it will be a better outcome than last year's away game against Melbourne that was just compensation.

Has the penny dropped yet
