No offense, but the draft will not look anything like that.

Quixote I didn't know we have delisted Allister Smith or he has asked to leave.

but we will find out before Friday otherwise you can't draft him if he is on the list.

Also lets see your top 17 picks and our picks to see who is closer to the mark.

Why don't you put forward your top 10 then

Martin should go at 3 - Butcher and Matthew Panos could slide, otherwise the top 5 or 6 look okay don't they ?

If Martin is available at pick 3...100% certainty to go to Richmond.

Lock it in close the book.

Just a few reasons why the draft is not great:
Morabito way too high, Martin will defiently go to Richmond, Fitzpatrick way too low. Melbourne will defiently not take Ball with 11 and probably not even 18 and who the hell is Daniel Panos.

Here's mine... (not saying its perfect)

1. Tom Scully
No brainer
2. Jack Trengove
No brainer
3. Dustin Martin
3rd best midfielder in the draft.
4. Anthony Morabito
Could possibly be anything, from WA and Freo will most likely pick him up.
5. Ben Cunnington
Probably the 4th best midfielder, fits North nicely.
6. Gary Rohan
Exiciting prospect, there are some doubts, but Sydney will take the chance.
7. Kane Lucas
From the WA, and West Coast need to add to the midfield with their KPP pretty much all set.
8. John Butcher
Replacement for Tredrea.
9. Luke Tapscott
Very good, tough player with probably the best kick in the draft.
10. Koby Stevens
Essendon need another inside midfielder to help out Watson.
11. Jake Carlisle
Need another KPP to help out Watts.
12. Aaron Black
Carlton need a KPF and have a good one in here. Late bolter.
13. Brad Shepard
HBF who will replace Mcleod, Goodwin.
14. Daniel Talia
With Bolton ageing, will probably take the best KPD and they have him right here.
15. Andrew Moore
Not really sure who the Bulldogs will take here, so I gave them a utility.
16. Jake Melksham
Best available midfielder.
17. Nathan Vardy
With Mumford gone, Ottens nearly gone and Blake no good, will take the best ruckman available.

^^^

Good effort, I had almost the same - only gone up to pick 10 so far....

- I think the OP had many of the top few, just in a different order to some
- OP meant Daniel Talia, not Panos

1 Melbourne - Tom Scully
2 Melbourne - Jackson Trengove
3 Richmond - Dustin Martin
4 Docker - Anthony Morabito
5 Kangas - Ben Cunnington
6 Swans - Gary Rohan
7 Eagles - Kane Lucas
8 Port - Daniel Talia / John Butcher
9 Port - Luke Tapscott
10 Essendon - Jake Melksham

Mathew Panos could slide, who knows

32 Saints - Alex Carey / Mitch Duncan / Andrew Moore / Ryan Harwood yes they're mainly mids
64 Saints - Joseph Dare
80 Saints - Pass

i think if melbourne only had pick 1 then it would take scully but considering they have 2 aswell id say they will take trengrove at 1 because he seems to display the qualities to be able to handle the title of being the first player selected

i may be wrong though...

Jon Ralph in the Hearld sun thinks Melbourne will use pick 11 for Luke Ball
so i might be close on this one Also with the young Western Australia player opting to play cricket instead I still think we will pick up (if left)

32. Ryan Harwood or Mark Hutchings
60. Sam Shaw
64. Nicholas Winmar
80. or psd draft player from other club or L fisher

Melbourne would be crazy to use pick 11 on Luke Ball, who else will take him before pick 18?

They will go Trengrove/Scully and Butcher or Black assuming he doesn't last that long. (All my opinion of course, will very likely be wrong.)

Port with pick 16! They are definately keen on him according to today's Adelaide Advertiser!

I think it'll depend who's available, picks fall a certain way and Melbourne might decide to pull the trigger at 11
