Goal umpires may get video assistance: AFL

I have a suggestion about this. It is not the perfect solution, but goes some way to fixing the problem and still keeps the game flowing.
What about a video review of each scoring shot by the reserve umpires, and when an error is found, then making an adjustment at quarter time, halftime, etc.
At least that way the score could be corrected.
I know the argument will be about possession of the ball after a point, but at least we would not have felt so hurt as we were by the Dustin Fletcher touched goal, and the Hawkins poster.

So...........
They change the siren rules AFTER St Kilda gets dudded
They change the tribunal rules AFTER St Kilda gets dudded
They change the goal umpire rules AFTER St Kilda gets dudded
Is there a common theme to all of this !!

St Kilda always gets dudded.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

As I stated I knew that would be the argument against my suggestion Bev, BUT at least the points would be correct and may make a difference of whether a team wins or loses.

Would not be a problem if the AFL implemented their next plan to DUD St Kilda.Saint Bev wrote:You can't adjust the score during the break. The whole game changes if the ball is kicked in after a point or play goes back to the centre after a goal.
Because St Kilda's forward pressure makes it hard for opposing teams to clear the ball from their defensive area after a behind, the ball with be bounced in the centre after every score.
