But surely if you follow the process and apply enough forward pressure, then due dilligence is no longer required... unles the position is untenable.SainterK wrote:Untenable, if I hear that one more time...it's right up there with due dillegence as the footy catch phrase of the month!

And Connors 'mouthpiece' Greg Denham stated on SEN this morning that Collingwood was to blame for the failure of the deal to get done.saintbrat wrote:Nixon revealed this morning that in the Ball deal with an attempt to get Everitt the Bulldogs pulled out atleast an hur before trading conculded because it just wasn't going to get done. Claimed they never want to give up0 any players which is why they rarely get deals across teh line.

Listening to SEN this morning with them talking up the fact Richmond now want Luke Ball, it seems to me the club rated his worth and value pretty much spot on...he's obviously a valuable commodity to a few clubs, it's a pity two of those wanted to wait for him to slip through. Smart by them, probably realised Collingwood would play hard and St Kilda would not fold. If anything Collingwood badly 'underrated' a player they desperately need for the purposes of trying to screw St Kilda.saintbrat wrote:and that would be what the Saints were saying THIS time last week- surprise surprise ........Mr Magic wrote:And Connors 'mouthpiece' Greg Denham stated on SEN this morning that Collingwood was to blame for the failure of the deal to get done.saintbrat wrote:Nixon revealed this morning that in the Ball deal with an attempt to get Everitt the Bulldogs pulled out atleast an hur before trading conculded because it just wasn't going to get done. Not disappointed in the club at all, respect their decision not to accept crap because a gun, being the 2pm deadline, was held to their heads.
