It's from the movie 'Any Given Sunday'. It's part of a half time speech 'Coach' Al Pacino gives...karnak wrote:Hey Thinline, I was referring to your signature quote,
you've got it in quotations and I don't know who said it, am just interested that is all.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Brown would be great for the Saints. It means Fisher and Gilbert can be freed up to attack and Goddard can play in the middle/forward full time.
B: Blake Dawson Baker
HB: Fisher Brown Gilbert
Now tell me you wouldn't like that. Not to mention, our backline is now set for the next 6-10years with Dawson, Brown and Gilbert.
The only thing it would mean is the end for Goose. .

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

If it looks like Collingwood aren't going to budge on giving us pick 30, maybe we ought to shop him around, to see if another club (that isn't as much of a Premiership threat) is prepared to offer us something slightly higher than pick 30 for him (ie 31-35 or so). That way he doesn't just go into the PSD for nothing and we don't just "give him away" to someone who could win the flag next year.

is that John Clark the comedian?SaintWodonga wrote:"Pick 62 and N Brown for Ball – apparently its done."
John Clark says: "This one is all but confirmed. Incredible win for the Saints. Ball was going anyway, and they land a very promising key backman. Perhaps now Maguire could be back out there for any takers. Saints the big winners for mine this week."
