Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Have it on good authority, but sorry, no source can be named in this case.

Before the 2000 draft we traded Darryl Wakelin and pick 48 to gain pick 4.Legendary wrote:Biggest recruiting coup since Aaron Hamill if we get this guy.
We then traded pick 4 and Sam Cranage to get Hamill.
Hence Hamill cost Darryl Wakelin + Sam Cranage + pick 48.
If we can get Tommy Walsh he will only cost us his pay and expenses.

If he can't, no Irish bastard over six four, who can kick left and right, and barge through opponents will ever be able.
Of course, it's a punt. Stynes was a punt, Kennelly was a punt, so were all the others. Most didn't work, but a couple did. Stynes played in a GF, won a Brownlow and played 230+ in a row for a side that was in contention for most of the time. Tagh was absolutely instrumental in Sydney's first flag for 5 decades.
And, they were how impressive before they got here? How impressive was Setanta - he's just been given another 2 year contract, and he came from a hurling background, FFS.
Walsh is over six four, aggressive, athletic, strong, two sided and has attitude. FFS, is there anyone available at 32 or 60 in the draft who can claim his strengths?
Every now and again something lands in your lap. Don't complain, don't bitch, embrace the chance.
Even if he's just a six four, mobile runner, isn't that fun?
