Deserved a higher value pick IMO, but such is life.

Come back any time X. Sad to see you go.

WTF???

Footy is a business as well - that operates under restraint of fair trade for about 50 weeks of the year! (excluding trade week and the draft days!)

We need to be able to (as in all clubs) move the cattle around a little bit more often IMO....

''People say to me now, what number did you go in the draft, and I'm a bit embarrassed to say it was No. 5,'' said the 26-year-old, who, after the trade went through, went to visit recruiter John Beveridge.

''I said, 'I'm sorry I couldn't live up to your expectations of me as a high draft pick' and he was a bit upset and disappointed that I was going, but I told him what my reasons were and I thanked him sincerely from the bottom of my heart for what he did for me.

''In a way sometimes I think I didn't live up to things, that my body didn't let me, but other times it doesn't matter, it doesn't mean anything.

''Even if I'd been drafted at No. 50, I would have done everything possible to make myself a good player. Hopefully I wouldn't be injured so much''.

As I said in an earlier post.
He's always carried himself with grace, humility and respect for others.
I'm not surprized to hear these 'quotes' from him.
X as a young man is a credit to his family, friends and upbringing.
A true gentleman.
