Happened after the 3-way trade, must have been a mutual agreement that once the Barry Hall trade went through they would swap picks.

To all you forum members that believe X should be traded should seek a brain trade at your local GP!
He was on the verge to break back into the 22 until fate dealt a cruel card.
He has just as much pace and skill as our new No. 9!!!!!
Imagine those two boys breaking the lines!
Either grow or trade a brain! You have until 2:00pm tomorrow!

Except for the fact that if he leaves, it more likely because he sought a trade?stinger wrote:Jody Arnol wrote:To all you forum members that believe X should be traded should seek a brain trade at your local GP!

why would he want a trade...what did the club tell him to make him decide his future was elsewhere.....SainterK wrote:Except for the fact that if he leaves, it more likely because he sought a trade?stinger wrote:Jody Arnol wrote:To all you forum members that believe X should be traded should seek a brain trade at your local GP!

Its that time of year when the scientists leave the paddocks and head for the fan forums to continue their research into the difference between cowchyt and Bullchyt !!degruch wrote:Sooooo...how are the silly trade rumours working out guys? Raph's being offloaded in a cafe, X is going to Brissy, Nathan Brown is hopping into the team...anyone care about Fev? It is fun this time of year.

The speculation of X being traded has all been from one paper so far, nothing from the club or X or Brisbane, I hope he stays as he adds that dimesion X factor which we have seen him do when up and running. During the year after he was injured Ross went out of his way to ensure X he was part of the clubs future plans hence signing him on whilst he was out injured.
He was a top 10 pick, has played over 100 games, only 25 and worth more than a round 4 pick as reported.

This speculation from BF ON x TRADE...
This deal will be pushed by the saints so the lions may get him cheaper than they normally would. Why you ask? Because Ball wants to leave because he got offered crap pay, if a Ball trade doesnt go through then the saints dont want to loose him for nothing. Trade out X and use the money they save to increase Ball's wage.

“Yeah….nah””
Hasn't it been quoted that St Kilda's offer to Luke Ball was more than what he had accepted from Collingwood, so why we would need to offer him more? That does not make a lot of sense.Teflon wrote:This speculation from BF ON x TRADE...

Only if you believe the crapola being peddled by Ball/Connors/Ball's camp that the Saints offered more money than Collingwood.backit wrote:Hasn't it been quoted that St Kilda's offer to Luke Ball was more than what he had accepted from Collingwood, so why we would need to offer him more? The biggest surprise is he may still stay at the Saints Will we then be booing one of our own players when he runs out on the ground?? Seems that way with some of the comments I've been readiing.
When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

The Club has secured two faster outside mids than X, and are looking for an extra draft pick to draft someone with different skills/positions.
I also don't see Ball coming back to the Saints
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!
