concur, i wish him the very best he seems like a lovely guy and he does a lot to help out young aboriginal kids.joffaboy wrote:Yeah maybe - but thats a bit of a different call.fonz_#15 wrote:No, but we should have got rid a couple of years ago, when has he produced with any regularity?joffaboy wrote:He hurt himself playing as a listed player for the Saints. .
I'm sure he is a lovely guy, but to me they are pieces of a puzzle- and he doesn't fit into that puzzle so see you later
Anyways - good luck X
i just don't see a spot for him at the club though, so best to give him a new club and fresh start.

fair enough then..chook23 wrote:sounds like he wants to lose us though.bigred wrote:I dont want to lose X...
although he is better than a 4th rd pick, he's missed so much footy lately that its the best we can get for him.
those great goals and high marks were so exciting in his first few years, seemed to change the way he played and got messed up with all those soft tissue injuries.. complete waste!
if only we had Misson back then looking after our fitness!!

Give Burkey back his jumper as you leave, you haven't earned it.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Ross Lyon is a very smart human being, certainly doesn't let sentiment play any part in his decisions.
mmm. well i dont think that RL is that objective either. Has shown a tendency to not judge purely on performance. Seems to take a preference to people he brings to the club over incumbents.... Id call that sentiment...
Not referring to x here because he has done nothing in 3 years.
But RL seems have a golden ticket printed off for people arriving iat the club in 2007 and after.....
Players recruited by Lyon have been done so for a reason... it's the type of player he deems necessary to execute his brand of footy.
Regardless...
Sad to see X go. A truly humble person without outstanding qualities.
Spent a lot of time doing charity work etc. True leader IMO.
Wish him the best of luck. He desrves it, and if it can't be with the Saints, then so be it.

All players are required to have top private cover.
We don't pay his medical bills and in any case he did his knee playing for us.
