Does anyone think Brisbane might be interested. They seem to be looking around for players to bring in. But who would we want from them.
That makes sense. Brisbane is no threat?

Different calibre of player.

O'Keefe > Ball
At his best, Bally is too good to allow O'Keefe to clean his boots.

Whether his best is behind him, however, is the question.

I'd take Daniel Rich for Ball

Only if they threw in Black and Brown also, and maybe Power...although Bally is probably better than those 3 put together...he showed us that this year!

Yeah but Ball doesn't want to play for St Kilda -- and Rich was very impressive in his first year.

COLLINGWOOD has secured Darren Jolly from Sydney in exchange for picks 14 and 46

Sydney coach Paul Roos was exasperated last night before the deal was sealed.

"What is on offer is just not good enough, and we won't be budging at this point,'' he said, before the Pies sweetened the deal with pick 46.

What a sweetener pick 46, that is equivalent to pick 69 a round 5 pick in an uncompromised draft.
That is even less than one lump of sugar.

This was the easy trade for Colliingwood to make, they only traded picks for a player they wanted.
It takes a lot more acumen to be able to evaluate and trade players.

I don't know that Collingwood is capable of trading players with Ego Eddie looking over their shoulders like a child clinging to his toys.
