the web version is definitely Raph (idiots). The print version has a pic of Xavier, but he is in his Saints hoodie and clearly just a generic pic attached to the story.goods wrote:Thats some woeful journalismmarkinUSA wrote:Looks like Raph to me too.
Why would the medical people put so much effort into him when we were going to trade him?JT wrote:Pretty sure this rumour is true. I was told it was unlikely he would be at the club next year. You would think X has a better chance of playing at the Lions than he does at the saints.
He played his best footy as a running half back and you would think he would be a chance to play there at the lions.
Guess we will just have to wait & see if I am talking garbage.

The risk to return in keeping them is far greater than trading them for a couple of non-first-round picks which I'm expecting to happen.
Not f****** happy.
yep and it's David Misson.undecided wrote:he's 26SaintSimmo wrote:Trade Wont happen x is a required player adds alot of pace, besides the fact that isn't the biggest kick in the team he adds alot to our side as a burst midfielder/rotation player. David Mission has done very well keeping our list fit and healthy lets hope he can xavier back at his best. Fourth Round Draft pick is not good enough as he was drafted in the top 10 a few years ago. Remember Xavier is still only 24 years old going into the peak of his playing career. HE'S A KEEPER!!
If we haven't seen the best of a player by 26 yo, then it wont happen.. X has silky skills, but I don't think he has ever had big leg speed, and after all the leg-related injuries, he will only slow down, so if RL want's to retain him, I see a forward pocket role or maybe a half forward flank at the best.SaintSimmo wrote:Trade Wont happen x is a required player adds alot of pace, besides the fact that isn't the biggest kick in the team he adds alot to our side as a burst midfielder/rotation player. Duty of care. He did his knee playing for us. Our responsibility to make sure he gets back to his best.saintsrus wrote:Why would the medical people put so much effort into him when we were going to trade him?JT wrote:Pretty sure this rumour is true. I'm a Lions supporter, what would X Clarke add to our side?
How about our Clarke for theirs?bobmurray wrote:great answer....fonz_#15 wrote:$50K a year in medical costsLion Cozi wrote:Is in Brisbane at the moment:

The Lions have been busy this week trying to bolster their playing stocks, now they just have to find a decent coach.....Armoooo wrote:How about our Clarke for theirs?bobmurray wrote:great answer....fonz_#15 wrote:$50K a year in medical costsLion Cozi wrote:Is in Brisbane at the moment:
