If we snare a first round pick for Luke Ball - it'd be effectively swapping Luke Ball for Andrew Lovett which I'd happily take.

Accepted less money and shorter deal for a shot the flag - well chosen young man

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Neither! Or kicking them himself after a long run down the wing!

Yep I was going to add that - but I knew some intelligent soul would do that for me :)

Best 22 with him in?

Baker - Dawson - R. Clarke
Blake - S. Fisher - Gilbert
Lovett - Hayes - Gram
Montagna - Riewoldt - Goddard
Schneider - Koschitzke - McQualter

Gardiner - Dal Santo - Jones

Geary - King - Milne - Ray

Yeah nah pleasing positive

Nice one in a thin draft with our window well and truly open!

Now on to Bally, we might just be able to upgrade tat pick 16 to pick 14 depending on what happens with Jolly. I think that might work out well for us.

Outstanding!

Well done to Ross & Drainy!

Welcome on board Andrew.

With Bally's trade still to come we're in a very good position to land another quality player and or 1st round draft pick.

Started late in footy terms so will have a few years more left. Should play until he is 32/33 as has only been in system since 04

I am happy we have him.

First round pick?

Oh well, welcome Lovett.

In hindsight we should of taken him last year when he would of cost us less money and a lower pick plus another year of football.

All the best to him and the Saints....but I think we've paid over the odds for him.

Interesting that they are reporting he took less money than he could have got elsewhere...wants to be part of something special.

We need pace in the midfield.

Happy with that trade.

Lovett needs to pull his head in though. Got a second chance at Essendon and still misbehaved this year.

He has to realise that he only has a couple of years of his career left and to win a flag he has to play by the Saints rules.

Michael Gardiner should be straight into his ear about what it takes to stay at the Saints.

Welcome A.Lovett. Keep your nose clean and help us win that long hoped for flag.

Lance or James??

The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)
