Trade yourself.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

You are going lose your job to somebody who uses AI.

Re: trade raph
It's all very well to want a trade for ace but what do we need? A look at the list below shows where the forum is weakest.ace wrote:But wouldn't be easier if you went and barracked for another team instead.gosainters66 wrote:please trade raph

The forum is well stocked for portly opinionated gentlemen in the 35-50 range, those that made it through the glory years of the mid 80s. I'd suggest we avoid acquiring more.
We also have some outstanding inarticulate posters in the 16-22 age bracket who can mangle English and communicate their boundless optimism having experienced - for this club - one of our most successful periods. No more of them either.
So I suggest we go after a female poster in the 30-40 age range, ideally from a club that tasted success in the 90s. A straight swap may be difficult so we may need to throw in a bonus.
And I would have Chris Judd before both of them?kalsaint wrote:Yeh maybe funny, but other than te value of freeing up some salary cap room, I would have Luke Ball before Raph any day.
You point?
Lance or James??

raph is one of a number of players whose performances i'm sure will be looked at in the light of the finals.
i wouldn't trade him, but i would strongly consider redefining his role.
to me he is never going to be a close-checking defender and should be played somewhere that his creative skills can be put to best use ... maybe tall onballer, winger or half-forward.
it's true his grand final was poor, but his last quarter against the bulldogs in the preliminary played a part in getting us over the line.

His last quarter was poor but there aren't too many defenders who could have kept pace with Shannon Byrnes at the end of that slug fest...not to mention he suffered a calf injury in the third quarter.bigcarl wrote:

I thought Raph had a good finals series....just like last year.
If he can get together a full pre-season next year, he will continue to improve and make his doubters look like fools.
