AFL NRL Double
So I want to put a wager on, the Saints only being $3.50 at moment isn't worth backing.
I want a big win.
So who knows a bit about the NRL because picking the Saints with the NRL premiers is paying closer to the $20 mark.
And I like those odds.
So who is gonna win the NRL?

St George looks hard to beat especially after the bulldogs got hammered. See how Parra, Storm and the Titans go this weekend, there's a bit of value there.
I backed a double in Feburary St Kilda/Gold Coast Titans and for an outlay of $15 hopefully set to return bit over 6 large. Fingers toes and eyes crossed.

Watched ST George vs Melb at Kogarah the friday night before Saints vs Swans. Exciting out fit
Just to make it tie back into St Kilda both clubs are backed by St George Bank... A company from the Kogarah area. Keeping it very saintly....

Re: AFL NRL Double
Reason I asked is that I've watched a bit of rugby and still fail to see the attraction. What's interesting or exciting about it? It just looks like a bunch of thick set guys running into each other and deliberately kicking the ball out of bounds. Can't for the life of me understand what people see in it.Broken Hill Sainter wrote:Im not a massive fan, I sort of follow the West Tigers.st.byron wrote:Are you interested in NRL Broken Hill?Broken Hill Sainter wrote:So I want to put a wager on, the Saints only being $3.50 at moment isn't worth backing.

Who gives a rat's tossbag about NRL?
If you want to make more money on the Saints, put more money on.
And do it before we smash the pies, we'll be paying well under $3 tomorrow.

I've barracked for the Eels for years. I'm shattered, we lost last weekend, then the Eels lost. I'm supporting the Kiwis in tomorrow night's cricket final, they'll have no hope.St Michele wrote:Well I was hoping for a Saints/Eels double as my husband and I go for both but no premierships for our household this year. Roll on 2010!!!
St Kilda's 2 premiership captains are Tassie born. The Doc & Roo.

man utd lost the champions final,
then the saints,
followed by the eels,
my soccer team - beaten only twice all year, lost the grand final in ET.
and earlier this year my seven aside soccer team lost the GF on penalties.
s*** year!

I didn't realise there were so many with the same affliction as i do.St Michele wrote:Well I was hoping for a Saints/Eels double as my husband and I go for both but no premierships for our household this year. Roll on 2010!!!
I was shattered last night having attended my second grand final in 8 days that my team lost a game in the balance with 3 minutes to go.
The double is well and truly a chance next year though, both sides to be back better than ever.
