Stands to reason... they have a much bigger salary cap and messiah complex than us.

Michael Voss epimises everything distasteful in a human being

Conceited
Arrogant
Smug
Overopinionated
Self-centred

but apart from that he seems like a nice chap

Agree only helped win 3 flags as captain. Is this site the moral capital of Australia or is it just non Saints players who have issues. Is there a Saints player that does anything wrong?

Just maybe we need our players to be like Voss and others or would we rather stay as we are and just continue our history as is.

Yeah, I'm glad he didn't play for us.

This is just about reason enough for us to go after him. Brisbane almost beat us at the Dome this year and made it to week two of the finals, yet imagine how much better they'd be with Fev and Brown and probably Mitch Clarke in their forward line next year (with Lauenberger and Charman back in the ruck). That would be some sort of forward line.
I'd rather it was us with Fev, Kosi and Rooey, with Yapper and Schneider at their feet.

You're right plugger how dare I have an opinion  after all this site is based on factual accounts raised by people in positions of responsibility. Oh and where was it I said all saints players are gems you'll have to point it out I must have missed it.

You're right we've got no chance of beating them if they get Fev

I didn't realise I said we'd have "no chance" of beating them? My mistake.

The difference here, is that we have no "mums" from which to seek confort from. So it's natural that grief stricken supporters look at recruiting players and try to justify their recruitment in order to give them hope that they wil no longer have to suffer the pain which they are currently doing.

Well I'm going to call it the single biggest load of sh1t I have ever read on this site.

Goodnight, thank you and God bless one and all.
No, that honour belongs to my 51 page thread on GT. But thanks for the compliment.

And I stand corrected:

A messiah complex is a state of mind in which the individual believes he/she is, or is destined to become, a savior. The messiah complex does not appear in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Great to see that the anti-messiah complex is alive and well.

If Carlton are prepared to pay a huge chunk of his salary, as reported in today's newspaper, it seems pretty clear that they want him gone and you'd think it will probably get done. I mean we're talking about the chance to get a 90+ goal a year full forward, in good physical shape, with a few very good years left, at a reasonable price.
This whole episode will be a huge wake up call for him and he'll probably be on his best behavior for the next couple of years, at least, like Hall was when he went to Sydney. Someone will surely realise this and be very happy to take him off Carlton's hands.

I reckon it will only be Brisbane for Fev, or he will stay at Carlton.

Brisbane have the only player that Carlton would trade for, a like for like full forward in Bradshaw. Plus a lower pick or player and the deal would be done.

Otherwise, enjoy the navy blue and a beer next year Fev.

Would be surprised if Fev wanted to move to Brisbane, very surprised. As he has a contract, they cannot make him move if he does not want to, is my understanding. Still reports that St Kilda is his favoured club. Depends what value Ross places on him.

Will be interesting to see how this all pans out next week.
