Back on Fevola;
Does Fev want a premiership medelion for Fev? or
Does Fev want to be part of a premiership team?
Both are ver different and I suspect the former, and that is one of the reasons why I believe we should give him a wide berth !!

I suspect you are right Eastern, let's reflect on the team player that is Brendon.....Eastern wrote:Back on Fevola;

He booed and gave the thumbs down if anyone in his team received more brownlow votes than he did, he didn't go to the B&F probably because it was not likely that he was going to win, he is generally ungracious in defeat and belays that in his body language after a loss...
Anything I have missed?
You really don't like Fev much, do you SainterK?SainterK wrote:I suspect you are right Eastern, let's reflect on the team player that is Brendon.....Eastern wrote:Back on Fevola;

Make no mistake, IF he comes to Sainterland, it will be with a different attitude and quite a few stipulations or he will quickly be shown the door. Our team and coaching staff wouldn't put up with his carp. Maybe it is just what he needs to get back on track. Sure, he can be an idiot, but he has never really hurt anyone but himself. Could a few of the other AFL players going around at the moment say the same....??

Personally I do not want Fev at the Saints. He is everything that we have tried to steer clear of in recent times (culture wise). I also don't want to lose any of our current players to gain him, this would not sit well with me. I don't like his attitude, I think it stinks and a bad attitude has a way of influencing others. Would Cloke, Betts and Garlett have gone out on the p**s if they were at our club? Who knows but probably not. Bad attitude breeds and Fev is the king of bad attitudes. This is just my opinion, not fact. Thanks for your time

My tip is that he'll stay at Carltoon or go to the Filth, where he can mix and socialise with Didak and the other liar Shawbarks4eva wrote:We must remember that Fevola has been in a very piss poor and morally corrupt environment for his whole AFL career, put him in a professionally run club like St kilda and he will soon reform!

spot on mate...emmdee wrote:No No No....Bally is gold with his leadership & inspiration, never let guys like him & lenny go...
Ball has great leadership and a former Captain, Best and Fairest winner V Fevola alcohol problems and gambling issues, with little qualities what so ever off field and sometimes shows little leadership qualities with fellow team mates on field.
From memory didn't Fevola get kicked off the Australian team in Ireland after a brawl at a pub???
He is a flowing loser and I just feel for his wife and kids, some of these types never grow up until it's way too late

Luke Ball should be going nowhere. He is exactly the type of guy we need to have around our football club.
His worth beyond what he produces on the field can never be underestimated.
To me he is a big part of the heart and soul of this club and to tinker with that chemistry is inviting disaster IMO.

Let's see, Ball get's dropped to the two's, isn't happy, but works his butt off and get's play finals and just misses out on apremiership.
Fevola get's dropped to the twos, probably sooks and goes out on the booze and get's plastered.
Who would you rather have?

oh, I forgot to answer the title of the thread
NO!!!
Yes, if Ball is on the suggested $600K, the Club will no doubt offer a lesser contract with probably some performance incentives to bolster that contract.
But again, NO way trade Luke Ball for a cretin like Fevola, who time and time again proves he has issues with alcohol and possibly gambling.
F*** him he deserves to stay at Carltoon or go to the filth

Keeping in mind that he would need to adhere to the trademark of course?
In order for Fev to join the saints he would have to have the backing of our leadership group. Now that would be an interesting meeting to be at. If it came at the cost of Bally you could find a few cracks appearing in the solidarity.
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

I AGREE! We don't need his attitude at the club!IluvHarvey wrote:That makes 2 of us.saint75 wrote: You really don't like Fev much, do you SainterK?

We do need those who are loyal to what is best for the team - i.e. the likes of Luke Ball!
Go Saints in 2010!

BTW this wasnt my opinion or anything it was stated in the herald sun as a possible trade.
I reckon the Goose will be awesome next year. Surely theyll be a spot for him come open. Rossy has said he wanted a full year of VFL from Matt before putting him back in. Well people he is now ready to go. CARN THE GOOSE!!!
Armitage, Steven, Lynch even Stanley all hoping they stand up and play 10 games next year. it would be nice.

It is said that there is more to come out. What? and When?
Is alcohol his ONLY problem?
Is he an alcoholic? or a binge drinker?
When was the last time he was drug tested?
Has he tested positive in any drug test? 3 strike policy?
A lot of commentators are calling for him to go into rehab. Why?
Is this another Ben Cousins type scenario?
These, and many more questions need to be answered before even thinking of ANY trade for him !!
fev is fine. binge drinker. not real bright. who cares???
so called commentators are full of sh*t.
zero strikes. get over it. very good footballer.
ratten trying to make a "stand" hoping it works. hes a goose . he will just lose 100 goals. next.
