I donâ€™t think anyone will come close to what I have to deal with at work at the moment. I walked in this morning after having yesterday off to what I could only describe as cruel. Geelong Premiers posters, even the picture of that team with the cup which is burning me up something rotten. Which I can see it in plain view from my desk, I just want to rip it all down and walk out.

We have massive wooden company mascot. Well itâ€™s a goal umpire this morning, dressed in Geelong colours, including holding up two flags with â€œgo catsâ€

I'm not sure why people always think that because it involves football, that it somehow justifies going to an effort to upset someone, to make cruel taunts, and to be generally unpleasant.

I work with a pack of full stops too.

But I can't say the same about most of the Geelong folk I know - they've kindly given me a wide berth for all the right reasons without gloating. A few emails and facebook posts but few and far between. I'm at the "good for you, you took your chances and we didn't stage" so i may even talk to them.

Fingers - I'd like to sack someone but who will do the work while I'm on saintsational?

DSG congrats on the impending arrival! i'm sorry you work with such jerks. I dont understand how ppl can be so justified in making other ppl feel so miserable. Maybe its just me but i would never rub a grand final win in anybodies faces because it takes a lot of work to get to a granny.

Saint supporters hearts bleed fairly badly for our team. I hope these ppl realise this and show some compassion. I'd be calling for stress leave...gotta think about your health and the bubbas!

A punch in the nose to your boss should do it. You could always plead 'pregnancy hormones' if you get into trouble.......

A really good 2nd option would be to burst into tears. Gets men every time. They can't bear knowing they have made a woman cry. You may get the afternoon off!

Seriously though, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just shows your bosses intelligence level. I would wear my Saints gear in and have my desk draped with Saints stuff as your boss is well aware of how close they came to be the greatest pretenders of all time had WE not lost the game. We lost that game, they didn't win it. To utter Geelong's name in the same breath as the Brisbane team that won 3 in a row is criminal!

Even Geelong supporters ask if they have memberships, are they barrackers or supporters?
